About exemplar certification
An exemplar certification is an independent audit of a management system against ISO-style requirements, typically used to support licensing or pre-qualification — for example, asbestos removal or demolition licences. In Gage's case, the exemplar audit was specifically against ISO 45001 (the WHS management system standard). The system we build and the implementation work are the same as for a full ISO certification; the difference is the audit pathway. Exemplar certification is not third-party ISO certification by a JAS-ANZ accredited certification body.
